Young Disciples

At that time the disciples came to Jesus, saying, “Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?” And calling to him a child, he put him in the midst of them and said, “Truly, I say to you, unless you turn and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.” (Matthew 18:1-3)

It’s been said repeatedly that children are the most precious gift. God blesses us with children in numerous ways. God can use one’s children to be the greatest blessing a parent could ever have.

We have a place for Young Disciples in our congregation!  Each year, we have activities like Halloween Trick-or-Treat time, a winter horse-pulled wagon ride, caroling, and a Young Disciples Christmas Pageant on Christmas Eve.  Young Disciples are invited to participate in worship as liturgists, ushers, and other Sunday morning responsibilities.  We love kids at this congregation!
